  • You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and ensuring all activity under your account complies with these Terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies.

ComplyWise is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our AI-powered insights are based on publicly available legal frameworks and best practices but should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel.

5. User Responsibilities

By using ComplyWise, you agree to:

  • Ensure your use of the platform complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide accurate information when using our compliance tools.
  • Not misuse the platform, including reverse-engineering, scraping, or reselling access.

  • ComplyWise uses secure cloud storage and encryption to protect customer data.
  • You acknowledge that data stored on ComplyWise may be processed by third-party providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) in compliance with Australian Privacy Laws.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your own data exports and backups.

7. Fees & Subscription Terms

  • ComplyWise operates on a subscription basis with recurring billing.
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We may update pricing, and you will be notified in advance of any changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • ComplyWise is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for business losses, regulatory penalties, or legal disputes arising from the use of our platform.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination & Suspension

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, you will lose access to ComplyWise, and we may retain compliance records for a limited period as required by law.

  • We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of ComplyWise after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
